French painter born in Nice in 1943

Eugene Begarat studies at the School of decorative Arts of Nice then at the National superior school of Beaux arts of Paris.

Travel to Venice in 1967 from where it brings back the works realized on the island of Murano then to Ravenne.
He settles in Brittany in 1970 and discovers the pointillism and the School of Pont-Aven. He is interested in Nabis painters like Felix Valloton and Maurice Denis. The juxtaposition of keys of colors founds a very strong vibration to his works.
Starting from 1987, it takes part in many exposures in France and abroad.
