CAUCHOIS Eugene Henri (1850-1911)
Born on February 14th, 1850 in Rouen (Seine-maritime). Died on October 11th, 1911 in Paris.
19th-20th centuries. French.

Genre paintings, landscapes, Marines, Still life, flowers and fruits. Pupil of Cabanel and Duboc, he took part in the Art fair of Paris starting from 1874. Member of the French Artists since 1890, he obtained a medal of third classified in 1898, a bronze medal in 1900 and a medal of second classified in 1904. At the end of its life, he was devoted to decorative painting, painting inter alia panels of flowers of every season for a school of the 7th district of Paris. He largely treated these compositions with large pasted keys.
