THOMAS Paul (1859-1910)
French Painter born in Paris the 30th of November 1859. Dead in 1910.
Genre scenes, portraits, Landscapes, Interiors, Pastelist, Sculptor.
He was taught by painting masters Jules Lefebvre (1834-1912) and Gustave Boulanger (1824-1888). He took part at the Salon des Artistes français of Paris which he became a member in 1885 ; getting a third class medal in 1882 and a silver medal at the occasion of the Universal Expo in 1900. He was made Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur in 1906. Museums : - Amiens (Mandoline Lesson) - Boston (Wives of beaten army) - Reims (The reading)
