Born 30th of January 1842 in Grasse.
Dead 7th of march 1924 in Asnières

Painter of genre scene, animals, landscape
Pupil of famous painter DAUBIGNY, he took part regularly in the Paris Fair exhibition from 1875 to 1923.

Works of CHARPIN show soulful countryside with subtle and harmonious tonality of colors very close to MILLET.
